Education & Career:
My educational background in Industrial and Production Engineering, coupled with my Master of Science in Management of Technology from New York University, has equipped me with a strong foundation in operations management, data visualization, and programming for business intelligence. Through my academic experiences and internships, I have gained practical knowledge in supply chain management, inventory optimization, and process improvement.
One of my most recent experiences was my role as a Supply Chain Analyst II at Niagara Bottling, where I played a key role in revitalizing the S&OP service plan and aligning sourcing and profitability goals. This resulted in significant cost savings and increased operational efficiency. Additionally, I spearheaded an initiative to automate product returns, reducing manhours and improving customer service.
Hobbies and Personal Life
In my personal life, I am an insanely curious individual who loves meeting new people with unique interests. I find inspiration in exploring new cultures and perspectives, which align perfectly with my love for travel and adventure. Outside of work, you can often find me embarking on DIY projects, hiking in beautiful natural landscapes, or seeking out new and exciting experiences. I recently started biking and make it a point to ride in the Angeles National Forest at least once a week.
Additionally, I prioritize spending time volunteering for not-for-profit organizations. I have volunteered through esteemed organizations like New York Cares and Helping Hands Pomona, where I have been involved in setting up food bank donation camps, conducting basic computer training sessions, coordinating food donations, and assisting with inventory management at the pantry, among other activities. It is my personal goal to dedicate at least 20 hours of my time annually to volunteering, utilizing my labor to make a positive impact, and I also donate blood at least twice a year.
A unique aspect of my life journey is that I have been away from home since the age of 12, navigating the world through the lens of boarding schools. This experience has deeply ingrained in me the values of discipline, teamwork, collaboration, and coachability, which have played a pivotal role in my personal and character development.
